KNOWN ISSUES

Note: The following issues are the ones that we are aware of and are currently working on fixing in the not so distant future. We will do our best to release updates on a frequent basis, and keep you informed of changes or enhancements.

1. Beat-Play works best with Firefox. Using Chrome especially seems to cause a lot of problems. This has a lot to do with Google’s own unique way of doing things. We recommend using Firefox for Beat-Play to bypass a lot of these issues.

 

2. Rating, Commenting and Tagging music from a 3rd party API like Soundcloud or Youtube, is currently not supported. This will be an upcoming focus for us.

 

3. The visualizer does not work with 3rd party API’s. We will work this fix in soon!

 

4. Searching and Bumping the Youtube database currently does not support more than one-word searches. This is something we hope to have fixed within the next several weeks.

 

5. Deleting and Editing Bumplists and Playlists with ‘Set Mode’ currently only supports deleting one list at a time. We will have this fixed soon.

 

6. Profiles not very detailed. -  We are planning big solutions for the profiles.

 

7. Volume Knob sticks sometimes - Please let us know if you have a problem with the volume. We realize sometimes it is tricky.

 

8. We hope to get a multi-file upload function in place in the near future.

 

If you have any of these issues, please be patient. We are a small team with a LOT of ideas. We will do our best to keep the live versions updated with new and better functionality while we continue to work on enhancements on the back-end. If you are having problems that are not expressed here, please contact us using the Bug Report form below. In addition to working on these issues, we are also working on additional Bump enhancements, along with additional Listening Modes, giving users more options for how to discover new music. We also are planning a mobile application at the moment.
